This county has to have the worst food in the world!!!

Lasagne on Scilly Isles, "traditional' pasty anwhere in Cornwall, Breakfast in Zennor, St Just, anything in Newquay, Chicken (I think) and chips in Treen....

It seemed no matter what you chose it was either overcooked, undercooked, super greasy, hard as nails or in the case of the pub dinner chicken and chips a combination of three of them.

The Cornish are forever goinhg on about independence ...please give it to them!

Computers, etc

1. Why does'nt anyone check installations ...

When software tells me do you want to make a backup? I click No and continue I don't expect to see a message box that tells me:

"Now backing up"

2....or tasksheets?

Tell students to "do task XX". Only to find it dont work, never has worked and unlikely to work in future....

3. Why do we need sooooo many usernames and passwords?????

Digital Television Channels

Paramount Comedy

As with most of the Digital channels, Paramount appears to be run by amateurs. Take this as an example:

One evening the last of the Sienfeld series was shown but it is in two parts. The first part was this evening. I come home the following day expecting to see part two and they have decided to start the series from the beginning again. As I said, run by amateurs...

Dont these people ever buy any other programs. Only Fools, My Family, Open all Hours, God the list goes on... Can they please purchase something else..

Why do they insist on repeating ad nauseum the same programs but under different 'themes' ie 'Summer Nights of Comedy', 'Battle of the Bosses' - Do they think that if they put the same stale old programs under a different theme we wont notice. Or is that they are stooopid and they think its different?

Why are they now showing documentaries on UK Gold is'nt that what the documentary channels are for?

In general, its bad enough that we have to pay three times to watch this crap and put up with a crappy service....three times?

a. Licence fee
b. Subscription to digital
c. through advertising

You think with the money they would improve the service...

Doctors appointments

Why is it so difficult to book an appointment with a doctor these days?
Spend ten minutes on the phone only to be told that 'we are now closed, we are open between the hours of 8 am and 6pm'.... According to my watch it is only 1pm.
It appears that they will not take any bookings past 4pm the following day!!!

If you are with Harold Macmillan Centre - Harrow then I suggest you change..
